Hong Kong Welcome Hub in Essex (Colchester Life in the UK CIC)

The Hong Kong Welcome Hub in Essex was set up by Colchester Life in the UK in February 2022, aiming to offer help and support to the BN(O) status holders to successfully integrate in their new communities. Different activities and courses have been organised regularly to provide professional advice on housing, education, employment, healthcare and more, including one-on-one career planning consultations to help BN(O)ers get on the right career path with ease and Befriending programme to help the BN(O)ers build up supportive friendships with locals.

The Hub also works collaboratively with a local cafe now to create working opportunities for the BN(O)ers, which help them immerse themselves in local culture and a real working environment.
