Refugee Action: Pathways to Work

Pathways to Work is a project for people seeking safety in the UK, who want to work on their career and education goals. We focus on aspirational employment and confidence building.

We offer an 8-week online employability and language programme for people looking to improve their employability/ language skills and enter a specific industry. Example topics covered during the course include personal development, email writing, pitching/presenting, UK work culture, CVs and Applications, Interview Skills, Higher Education, Employee Rights, and more. During the programme, learners will also be matched with a professional volunteer mentor who will help them with their career and education goals. 

We also offer a 1-2-1 employment support and advice for people, which focuses on areas that include career and/or education advice, a CV health check, interview preparation, job search and application support, and industry insights. This is more focused and tailored service that aims to provide unique experience for each individual client.
