Peterborough Asylum and Refugee Community Association (PARCA)

Peterborough Asylum & Refugees Community Association (PARCA) is a “Befriender for All”, “Holding Hands Together for Development Across All Communities”, It’s a one stop shop for supporting Asylum Seekers and Refugees. Key areas, One to One support, for housing, ESOL Translation services, Education and Employment. Their amazing hard work was rewarded this year with the MBE Queens Award for Voluntary Services.

The British Nationals (Overseas) Hong Kong Project was introduced at PARCA in 2022 and has already in the Cambridgeshire/Peterborough area been able to help and support families who have arrived with Education, ESOL and Employment opportunities. As the project develops it is hoped to have a community set up to meet regularly and share the information already achieved within the area.
