5E’s START-WELL project will support Hong Kong BN(O)’s and their dependents from key London boroughs with an emphasis to welcome and integrate them into Life in the UK. START-WELL will provide activities for early intervention, citizenship, enrichment and integration through IAG, individual needs analysis, workshops for settling in the UK including Life in the UK, information on accessing housing, health, welfare benefits, employer know-how, ‘Life in the UK’ and ‘Adapting to UK Life’, trips to places of interest, mentoring and coaching translation, budding and befriending opportunities with UK ambassadors/ welcome hubs/ referral organisations especially in Harrow and Barnet.
Barnardo’s
One of the UK's oldest children's charities, currently offering free therapy referral for families via its BOLOH helpline. Has also published a 'Parents' Guide to Summer Holidays' and holds an English conversation club.
Broxtowe Community Projects (BCP)
Broxtowe Community Projects is establishing a community centre where BNO’s can receive a welcome, learn about their new home and access support with Learning English, finding friendship, social integration, and a programme of cultural, educational, pastoral and networking events.
Cheshire, Halton & Warrington Race & Equality Centre
CHAWREC aims to support Hong Kong BNO to integrate into the area by providing opportunities for socialisation and one to one support to access key services, including employment, health, education, language etc. We cover local authority areas of: Cheshire West & Chester, Warrington, Cheshire East, Halton.
Good Neighbour Church England
Good Neighbour Church England helps HongKong BN(O)s on social and professional integration in settling the UK, including career workshops and English classes, as well as a range of children’s services. We also provide whole person and well-being development classes, for instance, mindfulness workshops and face-to-face advising.
Groundwork (Impact London)
IMPACT supports BN(O)s with English language sessions, community activity workshops and employment advice. We offer both group and one-to-one sessions, in-person and online. Our classes are informal, friendly and are a welcoming space for BN(O)s new to London.

Groundwork will work with Hongkongers, supporting them to integrate into their communities and access multiple services
Guildford Hongkongers
Guildford Hongkongers originated from a community group set up in October 2020 aiming to offer help and support Hongkongers in Guildford and surrounding area. We are now formalising the organisation and we hope by setting up a formal organisation to continue our support action serving Hongkongers arriving and settled in Guildford. Different activities and courses have been organised regularly including Mental Health services, referral to public resources, talks on life in the UK, Hong Kong movie appreciation etc.
Hong Kong Cultural Community C.I.C.
Hong Kong Cultural Community C.I.C., a not-for-profit organisation based in Greater Manchester, is dedicated to promoting Hongkongers’ culture and facilitating their integration into the local community.
Leeds Umbrella CIC
Leeds Umbrella is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that provides support to Hong Kongers and organisations in Leeds, UK. We offer a range of services including training, mentoring, and consultancy, to help Hong Kongers and businesses to thrive and grow. Some of our core areas of focus include social enterprise, community development, and sustainability.
Lifeline Community Projects
Café Connect is a weekly activity café that offers a range of activities and opportunities designed to promote integration and support BN(O) Hong Kongers to connect with and settle into their new communities.
Light Foundations
Qualification training, mentorship and other professional skills development programmes for the local community in London, with an aim to reduce social isolation and long-term unemployment. Clients are given skills training, workshops and development opportunities, IT skills and ESOL Skills for Life as well as accredited qualifications.
Meridian Wellbeing
Supporting BN(O) newcomers to integrate, reduce isolation, and support their mental health and immigration needs via the provision of: monthly Welcome Parties with ‘Life in the UK’ talks, Mental health support, 1-2-1 assessment, Advice & advocacy services, ESOL classes, Employability training, Functional skill learning, Volunteer buddy match, Psycho-social activities.
Migrant Advocacy Service
Migrant Advocacy Service promotes and supports vulnerable migrants in the Royal Borough of Kingston. We provide support in all areas - education advice, registration for schools and GPs, help with housing and benefits, as appropriate.
North-East Hongkongers Club
We are helping new arrivals from Hong Kong (mostly BN(O) Status Hongkongers) settle in North East England. We have received funding from the North East Migration partnership to deliver the BN(O) Welcome Program since March 2022.
Oxfordshire Chinese Community & Advice Centre
Oxfordshire Chinese Community & Advice Centre (OCCAC) exists to serve the Chinese community in Oxfordshire by providing independent quality advice and services, enabling them to gain equal access to public resources, improve their quality of life and integrate into society. Its BNO Welcome Project offers advice, talks on life in the UK, 'Survival English' training courses, as well as cultural festival celebrations.
Oxfordshire Hong Kongers
Our organisation supports the Hong Kong BN(O) community in Oxfordshire during their transition to the UK. We address challenges in language, employment, mental well-being, and children services. We promote successful integration through community engagement, including volunteering and community gatherings. Our goal is to empower the Hong Kong BN(O) community, foster a sense of belonging, and facilitate their integration into the UK.
Path Yorkshire
The ‘Path to Work’ project will support BNO from Hong Kong to apply for jobs and improve their English skills for work.
