5 E Ltd
5E’s START-WELL project will support Hong Kong BN(O)’s and their dependents from key London boroughs with an emphasis to welcome and integrate them into Life in the UK. START-WELL will provide activities for early intervention, citizenship, enrichment and integration through IAG, individual needs analysis, workshops for settling in the UK including Life in the UK, information on accessing housing, health, welfare benefits, employer know-how, ‘Life in the UK’ and ‘Adapting to UK Life’, trips to places of interest, mentoring and coaching translation, budding and befriending opportunities with UK ambassadors/ welcome hubs/ referral organisations especially in Harrow and Barnet.
Action West London
Action West London will support Hong Kong BN(O) visa holders in overcoming employment barriers. We will offer established services in employment, education, and enterprise to Hong Kong Nationals in west London. The goal is to help with CVs, job search, applications, and interview skills, including training in social skills, IT, English language, and communication.
Ednovate
Ednovate is a network founded on the collective knowledge and expertise of educators who have experience in both the UK and Hong Kong. We are committed to offering support for the Hong Kong youth diaspora, aiming to enhance educational integration, uphold well-being, and unleash their full potential.
Groundwork (Impact London)
IMPACT supports BN(O)s with English language sessions, community activity workshops and employment advice. We offer both group and one-to-one sessions, in-person and online. Our classes are informal, friendly and are a welcoming space for BN(O)s new to London.
Hackney Chinese Community Services
Founded 1985 and serves the local East and South East Asian community in London by providing cultural and community events as well as information and informal advice.
Harbour Sports Club
Harbour Sports Club will launch a series of activities to keep the community active and promote social support and bonding through sports. These include regular yoga classes and community runs, webinars on health and sports-related topics, and the Reading/London Sports Day, which is a whole-day carnival of various sports activities to promote health consciousness and social cohesion.
HKG International
Runs the 'Moon and Star' Companion Programme, through which HongKongers who have settled in the UK for more than four months will act as guides and companions ("Moon"), and provide three months support for newcomers in the same district ("Stars"), helping them to establish social circles and adapt to local culture.
Hong Kong Aid Services CIC
Hong Kong Aid is a UK-based organisation focusing on human rights issues and the well-being of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees in the UK. We aim to build cohesion amongst Hongkongers in the UK.
Hong Kong Business Hub
An independent international business organisation, committed to supporting, accelerating and connecting Hong Kong entrepreneurs and businesses through business services, professional service referrals incubation programme, trainings, company profiling and networking opportunities, while also promoting and safeguarding the interests of the Hong Kong entrepreneurial community in the UK.
Hong Kong Counsellors Hub CIC
Under the scheme of BNO (5+1), many people come to live in the UK. Many are spiritually, emotionally, and mentally challenged in adjusting to the new culture and community, including social workers and counsellors.
Hong Kong Nursing Association UK
A group of Hong Kong nurses, who obtained UK nursing registration and mainly now working for NHS at different departments in different Trusts across the United Kingdom, volunteering to help new comers to provide information, and suggestions on how to attain Nursing Registration in UK, and for how to find jobs.
Islington Chinese Association
Offering advice services, classes, and activities to help Hong Kongers enhance their language and communication skills, learn about their new environment and acquire new skills for professional development.
Lifeline Community Projects
Café Connect is a weekly activity café that offers a range of activities and opportunities designed to promote integration and support BN(O) Hong Kongers to connect with and settle into their new communities.
Light Foundations
Qualification training, mentorship and other professional skills development programmes for the local community in London, with an aim to reduce social isolation and long-term unemployment. Clients are given skills training, workshops and development opportunities, IT skills and ESOL Skills for Life as well as accredited qualifications.
Meridian Wellbeing
Supporting BN(O) newcomers to integrate, reduce isolation, and support their mental health and immigration needs via the provision of: monthly Welcome Parties with ‘Life in the UK’ talks, Mental health support, 1-2-1 assessment, Advice & advocacy services, ESOL classes, Employability training, Functional skill learning, Volunteer buddy match, Psycho-social activities.
Migrant Advocacy Service
Migrant Advocacy Service promotes and supports vulnerable migrants in the Royal Borough of Kingston. We provide support in all areas - education advice, registration for schools and GPs, help with housing and benefits, as appropriate.
UK Welcomes Hong Kongers (UK Welcomes Refugees)
The UK Welcomes Hong Kongers Project provides support networks and welcome groups. Also promotes Community Sponsorship and related initiatives.
Volunteer Centre Sutton
Integrating Sutton aims to assist and ease the integration of new Residents to the London Borough of Sutton. We provide advice, support and opportunities to engage in new activities, introductions to local services, meet new people, volunteer and have matched buddies to build confidence and skills.
